Lots of quick information here. While not difficult, there are some steps that you should definitely follow for success. Our office uses the Multilink Hybrid Cement from Ivoclar Vivadent to bond our ceramic abutments to the TiBase.

The cement is light-cured for 2 to 5 seconds or self-cured, which takes 2 to 4 minutes. Isolation of the site should be maintained for 5 minutes. Figure 4 depicts a porcelain-fused-to-zirconia (PFZ) crown after cementation with PANAVIA ™ SA Cement Plus. Description Self curing Multilink Hybrid Abutment was specially developed for the cementation of lithium disilicate glass ceramic onto titanium bases (IPS e.max hybrid abutments and IPS e.max hybrid abutment crowns).

Revision emax crowns, first crowns were turning blue due to micro-leakage, these ones that were just cemented are starting to turn gray. The cement used was called Block-out. I have researched all night about different cements on Emax crowns and not one site recommends block-out which is recommended particularly for lumineers.

We have been using Ivoclars HF 20 sec etch exclusively on our IPS e.Max Cad since we started using Cerec years ago. Recently we have have a series of different restoration types (veneer, full contour, crown etc.) debond. Every time the restoration is complete clean on the intaglio, all of the resin in on the prep. This is a emax-cad abutment cemented with inner etching with hydrofluoric acid gel, mono bond plus , mix multilink a+b and multilink abutment hybrid by Ivoclar vivodent and the tibase was sandblasted. When I use tibase with zirconia abutment I cement it with panavia or scotchbond one bottle and relyx ultimate. Here's a great tip from Dr. Kimberly Wachter.
